How to change a Facebook Page Name and Username
I was speaking to a client today and neither one of us could figure out how to change a Facebook page’s name / username.
After I figured out how to make these changes,I was slapping myself upside the head because it turns out it is exceptionally easy!
Here is how change a Facebook page name from a desktop:
- Log into Facebook, then click your page’s profile photo in the top right.
- If you are not already on the correct page, click See all Profiles, then select the Page you want to switch to.
- Click your Page photo in the top right.
- Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
- Below General Page Settings, click Edit next to your Page name.
- Update your Page’s name, then click Review Change.
- Enter your password, then click Save Change.
Here is how change a Facebook page username/url from a desktop:
- Log into Facebook, then click your page’s profile photo in the top right.
- If you are not already on the correct page, click See all Profiles, then select the Page you want to switch to.
- Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
- Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
- Click Username.
- Enter your new username and your password, then click Save changes.
